J. Kevin McKinney, MD
Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Glaucoma Specialist
Board Certified, American Board of Ophthalmology
"The
eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body
will be full of light." (Matthew 6:22)
"One hundred
years ago, glaucoma was a uniformly blinding disease. With recent
advances in diagnostic technology, medical therapy and surgical
technique, blindness due to glaucoma is now uncommon in the USA.
Our current challenge in caring for persons with glaucoma is to
preserve a lifetime of good vision without diminishing quality of
life. Providing personalized care for the whole person, not just
the eye, is the most rewarding part of my work as a glaucoma specialist."
