Dr. Romanowski graduated Summa Cum Laude from the City University of New York where he was awarded the Jonas Salk Scholarship for Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where he achieved honors in each of the four years and was elected to the Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha.

After an Internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, he went on to complete his Residency in Ophthalmology at Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Romanowski joined the staff of EyeHealth Northwest in 1987. He is board certified and is an associate examiner of the American Board of Ophthalmology as well as a reviewer for the AMA's journal Archives of Ophthalmology. His practice focus is Comprehensive Ophthalmology.
