Dr. Stromberg graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. He received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. After serving an Internal Medicine Internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Dr. Stromberg went on to complete his Residency in Ophthalmology at Oregon Health Sciences University and joined the staff of EyeHealth Northwest in 1991.

Dr. Stromberg frequently volunteers with Northwest Medical Teams to perform eye surgery in Oaxaca, Mexico. He was recently given the Northwest Medical Team Spirit of Life and Outstanding International Volunteer award.
