Optician – Oregon City
 
We have an opening for a full-time Optician in our Oregon City clinic. This will provide exceptional customer service to our patients by helping them find the right eyeglasses to fit their lifestyle and visual needs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience as an Optician, be ABO certified – or have the ability to become ABO certified – and possess the following qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to sell high-end products
  • Reliable transportation
 
This position receives commissions on sales, as well as competitive base pay.

   
  
Ophthalmic Technicians
 
We have full-time openings for Ophthalmic Technicians.  These positions support our practice by assisting physicians in evaluation of patients’ ocular system, performing diagnostic tests and providing patient education to ensure quality care.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast paced, successful practice. The successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
 
  • Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in work
  • Strong team player with the ability to effective coordinate work with others
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant or Ophthalmic Technician
  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician COT is preferred

RN – Eastside Surgery Center
 
We have a fulltime opening for an RN circulating nurse for our busy eye surgery center in Clackamas. Monday-Thursday, 10 hour shifts. No weekends or holidays. No call. Minimum 1 year circulating experience required.
 

Front Desk Supervisor
  
We have an opening for a Front Office Supervisor.  This position reports to the Clinic Operations Manager, and is responsible for supervising front office employees and facilitating patient flow through check-in/check-out.  Responsibilities include assisting patients and receiving payments; insurance verification; addressing and resolving patient issues; ensuring sufficient staffing levels; training, coaching and managing employees' performance.
 
Professional Qualifications:
  
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA rules.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues with staff and patients.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Practice Management programs; experience with Electronic Health Records is preferred.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in a medical office setting.
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience and training that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform job duties.

Patient Coordinator/Receptionist – NW Portland
 
We are seeking a full-time Patient Coordinator/Receptionist for our NW Portland Clinic. This position will be responsible greeting, assisting and directing patients to appropriate areas; preparing and processing patient information for appointments; verifying insurance; receiving and processing payment for services; and checking patients out of the clinic. 
 
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
 
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to help people
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Dependable team player
  • Enjoys working with the public
  • Experience working in a medical environment preferred

Surgery Scheduler – NW Clinic

 We have an opening for a Surgery Scheduler in our NW Portland Clinic.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience in ophthalmology, with experience coordinating schedules, surgery scheduling and have strong organizational skills.  Must possess excellent communication skills and be customer-service oriented with a genuine desire to help people.
