As the Chairman of the Website Development Committee, I have the privilege to represent the physicians of EyeHealth Northwest in welcoming you to our new family of websites. You’ll find a wealth of information about vision, eye surgery, and medical eye conditions in general as well as specifics about the services of EyeHealth Northwest presented in a variety of innovative and interactive formats.
EyeHealth Northwest offers the entire range of eye services from our own optical lab to our own surgery centers. We are community based with 14 locations throughout the Portland Metro area. Our doctors include Optometrists, Comprehensive Ophthalmologists, and Surgical and Medical Sub Specialists covering virtually all areas of eye care.
The original offices of EyeHealth Northwest began independently in 1954, and after merger in 1997, have grown to become one of the nations largest community based eye clinics. Our size and diversity is reflected in our three new websites, which together represent one of the largest Ophthalmology clinical websites created to date.
Our General site, www.EyeHealthNorthwest.com is a great place to start. Here you will find videos from our patients and doctors, a library of 3-d computer animation explaining common eye conditions, a wealth of written information about the full spectrum of eye care, and interactive forms to help you get your questions answered by one of our experts.
Our Lasik site, www.EyeHealthLasik.com is the best way to find out if Lasik is right for you. Our innovative Lasik path will walk you through the steps our patients take to get better vision with EyeHealth Lasik. Our searchable testimonials allow you to find EyeHealth Northwest patients that match your situation, learn about their results, and even contact them via one of our Lasik specialists. Perhaps most importantly, you’ll get the chance to watch videos of our Lasik surgeons explaining Lasik, answering common questions, and sharing their experience.
Our Cataract site, www.EyeHealthCataract.com is the first website ever created by a clinic specifically devoted to cataract surgery. As the largest providers of cataract surgery in the Portland Metro area, we hope to offer a unique educational resource to patients who have been diagnosed with cataract and are looking for guidance on surgery. This site contains the same great features as our other sites including an interactive Google map showing your nearest office as well as search by physician name, specialty, and location allowing you to find one of our 20 cataract surgeons to best suit your needs.
