Dr. Stoumbos is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist with expertise in the medical, laser, and surgical management of glaucoma, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. She also practices comprehensive ophthalmology, with a special interest in routine and complex cataract surgery.
Dr. Stoumbos received her M.D from Georgetown University, where she also completed her ophthalmology residency. She completed her glaucoma fellowship at Tufts New England Eye Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. Dr. Stoumbos has a strong drive to serve others and is motivated by the relationships she creates with her patients. She has a special interest in caring for underserved populations, and has provided medical care around the world, including Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and Nepal.
As a native Oregonian, Dr. Stoumbos is excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, sports, cooking and spending time with her husband and two cats.
