Dr. Lubahn joined EyeHealth Northwest in 2013.

"Thank you to Dr. Lubahn who recently gave me 20/20 vision for the first time in my life! I have had severe astigmatism in my left eye and have worn glasses for as long as I can remember. Even with glasses, I could only read the Big E on the eye chart. I then began to develop cataracts and Dr. Lubahn performed a wonderful surgery that has entirely changed my life. He replaced the lens in the left eye with the new Toric lens . He is such a fine surgeon and I so highly recommend him to anyone with poor vision. The day after surgery when Dr. Lubahn removed the eye shield.... I walked outside into a beautiful new world that I had never seen before. I sat and cried on the bench out front for 15 minutes. I am so grateful and happy to have had this surgery during my lifetime. The new Toric lens is amazing! Do go and see Dr. Lubahn for you will be in the very best of care!"
"Dr. Lubahn diagnosed both a cataract and glaucoma on my first visit after I experienced extremely clouded vision in one eye. This diagnosis was actually a relief because I'd received a clean bill of health one year previous while living in another state, though I felt something was off at the time. Dr. Lubahn performed cataract surgery two years ago and relieved my anxiety before and after the surgery by explaining the process thoroughly and giving me clear instructions for followup care. The surgery was a success and I'm grateful to have crystal clear vision. Having glaucoma has been a learning experience: Dr. Lubahn stressed the importance of consistency in using eye drops and keeping appointments in order to preserve my vision. I believe he cares about his patients' eyesight as much as he would care about a member of his family."
I have had cataract surgery in both eyes over the course of two years through EyeHealth Northwest at the Ambulatory Surgery Center located at Providence Portland Medical Center. Hands down, I wouldn't have had the procedures done anywhere else. My surgeon, Dr. Jordon Lubahn, explained everything simply and thoroughly as to what I could expect. The team of nurses and the anesthesiologist were genuinely caring and concerned about my welfare. I'd like to especially point out one nurse (Jonathan) who initially helped me at intake and was quick with a joke and smile. He sure had a way of eliminating any anxiety I may have had prior to surgery.
